Inferno Joker Slot Review
Inferno Joker is a classic slot from Play’n GO with 5 reels and 5 paylines. Released in August 2019, this game can be played at online casinos such as Unibet, Royal Panda or Casumo.
Theme and basic information
Inferno Joker is very much a classic slot. Whilst we get 5 reels, we only get 5 paylines. And the symbols on the reels are mostly classic as well. The background is kept in shades of purple. The reel frame is golden and looks a bit Art Deco influenced.
The soundtrack is weirdly electric and can actually get annoying if you keep the volume up too loudly.
The regular joker symbol is worth 500x our stake for 5 on a payline. The 7 pays out 75x our stake for such a win. The gold bars are worth the same and then we get typical fruit machine symbols such as melons, lemons, plums and cherries, which are all paying out 25x our stake for 5 of a kind.
You can play this game from as little as 0.05 per spin to 100.00 per spin.
Catch the Inferno Joker
Well, since this is a classic slot for the most part, we are not getting any bonus games. There is no free spin feature, no bonus scatters, no side games. We don’t even get wild symbols.
What we do get is the Inferno Joker Scatter. This one looks like the regular joker symbol, except it is slightly bigger and much more golden and fierier in colour and design.
When the Inferno Joker lands on reel 3, all instances of the regular joker (if there are any) turn into Inferno Jokers as well. We also get a re-spin (assuming that we don’t already have 5 Inferno Jokers on the reels). The re-spin should hopefully catch further Inferno Jokers. If we do get another one, we also get another re-spin.
The re-spins stop until we get no more Inferno Jokers or if there is one all reels already. Since this is a scatter symbol, it pays out as long as we have at least 3 on the reels. In that case we get 125x our stake in winnings.
For 4 Inferno Jokers the pay is 325x our stake. And 5 will pay out the maximum of 2,500x our stake in this game.
Conclusion: A simple and volatile slot with a maximum 2,500x your stake payout
The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) for Inferno Joker is 96.38%, which is pretty decent for a slot as volatile as this one. The gameplay is quite simple and, honestly, the base game can be rather boring if you never catch an Inferno Joker. That is the only time things get interesting.
That tends to be the problem with most classic slots, though. Highly volatile, interesting payouts, but overall a rather repetitive gameplay.
Plus, the maximum payout is only 2,500x our stake. It’s really not that bad, but most Play’n GO slots that are just as volatile have more interesting gameplay and a better maximum payout. The game is pretty, though, and among the modern classic slots it’s playable enough. But there are many better Play’n GO slots out there.
